Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Refineries and Crimea: Missile Brigade and Terminals Hit.
Attacks on Russian Occupier Assets
According to Novyny.live: On July 6, Ukrainian troops launched strikes against Russian targets in Crimea and on Russian soil, hitting infrastructure of strategic importance. Among the assets affected were:
- oil refineries
- missile brigade deployment sites
- petroleum product transshipment terminals
One of the facilities struck was the Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl, which has an annual design capacity of 15 million tons of crude oil. Another key site hit was the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga refinery. Additionally, the permanent deployment point of the 26th Missile Brigade, located in the Leningrad region, sustained damage.
Ukrainian forces also targeted the TES-Terminal-1 light petroleum transshipment terminal in Kerch. The attacks further damaged a railway overpass near Dovzhansk and a storage facility for enemy unmanned aerial vehicles in the Chervonopopivka area. Notably, in June, Ukrainian military personnel struck over 200,000 Russian targets, showcasing the high effectiveness of their operations.
These strikes highlight Ukraine's strategic approach to dismantling the enemy's military and economic resources.
Such actions could significantly disrupt Russian troop logistics and supply chains, as well as impact the overall energy infrastructure of the aggressor nation. Continued operations of this nature may signal Ukraine's intent to escalate pressure on Russia across both military and economic fronts.
