Today, September 5, the band “Zhadan and the Dogs” announced on their official page the release of charity T-shirts intended to support the family of the deceased artist Veronika Kozhushko.
These T-shirts will be adorned with drawings by the Ukrainian artist herself, who was killed on August 30 during a shelling of the city by Russian occupiers. In their message, the band expressed sincere condolences to the family of Veronika Kozhushko and announced that they decided to join in preserving the memory of her and her art.
The band noted that the drawings that Veronika Kozhushko sent in for the contest will be printed separately from the contest results. This will become a series of T-shirts to be sold as the band's charity merchandise. All the money collected from the sales will be given to Veronika Kozhushko's parents.
The band emphasized that this is their way of honoring the memory of the artist and supporting her family during this difficult Time.
“Bright memory to Veronika. Let her drawings live,” added the musicians.
More detailed information about the sale of the T-shirts and the opportunity to purchase them will be announced later.
Previously, it was recalled, Zhadan wrote a poem for a McDonald's advertising campaign for a record fee.
