The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has decided to shorten the summer vacation. The last bell will be celebrated on May 30, 2025, but this will only be a symbolic event, and the school year will last until June 30. This decision was made to compensate for the loss of educational material that had not been covered due to various circumstances such as air alarms, quarantine restrictions, and changes in the school vacation schedule. The variety of spring break schedules has led to an uneven educational workload in different schools, so it was decided to extend the school year. Summer vacations will begin on July 1, 2025, and will last for two months instead of the usual three. The start of the new school year will remain unchanged - September 1, 2025.
