New Military Payroll System in Ukraine: July Payments and Amounts Revealed.
Updated Compensation for Ukrainian Armed Forces
According to Novyny.live: Starting in July 2026, Ukrainian service members will receive payouts under a revamped system, distributed in two installments. According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 768, dated June 12, 2026, the new monthly minimum stands at 30,000 hryvnias. This total includes a base rate of 20,000 hryvnias plus additional allowances.
For troops stationed in rear areas, a motivational supplement of 10,000 hryvnias is included. Payments for June are scheduled to arrive by July 20, 2026, ensuring timely access to funds. Those operating from positions seized by enemy forces will receive 20,000 hryvnias per day. Meanwhile, personnel involved in assaults and captures of enemy positions—whether on the contact line or deeper within hostile defenses—will earn 40,000 hryvnias per day.
Extra Bonuses and Incentives
Additionally, service members fulfilling combat duties at brigade, regiment, or battalion command posts will receive 50,000 hryvnias monthly. For other combat or special missions, the monthly rate is set at 30,000 hryvnias. The maximum monthly payout is capped at 460,000 hryvnias, underscoring the high value placed on service during active hostilities.
Performance-based bonuses are also part of the package:
- 100,000 hryvnias for each enemy soldier taken prisoner.
- 15,000 hryvnias for each confirmed enemy kill, verified by video evidence.
These measures aim to boost troop morale and enhance mission effectiveness on the battlefield.
The introduction of new compensation for Ukrainian service members reflects the state’s growing commitment to military financial support, especially amid intense combat operations.
This policy shift could significantly improve soldiers’ psychological well-being and incentivize them to tackle complex combat objectives. A clear motivational framework not only aids troops but also aims to sharpen their performance in the field.
