According to ТСН: Ukrzaliznytsia has announced a new timetable for 2025–2026, which will come into effect on December 14. The timetable will include 11 new routes, including eight international and three domestic. In addition, the company will significantly increase the number of seats for passengers by 2 million over the year.

This system has been used as the basis for planning transportation in 2026.

Key updates in domestic transport

New train Barvinkove – Chop

Train No. 47/48 will provide an additional connection for residents of the Donetsk region, who currently only have multimodal connections. This will enable convenient travel to the Carpathians, Transcarpathia, and the international hub in Chop.

Krywyi Rih – Ivano-Frankivsk

The new train No. 33/34 will connect the central regions with the Prykarpattia region and tourist destinations in the west of the country.

Updated connection Kharkiv – Uzhhorod

Train No. 113/114, which has social significance for Polissya and Volyn, will be extended to Transcarpathia. This will improve opportunities for residents of Zhytomyr, Sarny, Rafalivka, and other cities.

The new timetable includes over 40 trips to mountain rehabilitation centers and health resorts, especially from frontline regions. The Lviv – Vorokhta train, which has already shown its effectiveness during the tourist rush, will operate continuously.

Ticket sales according to the new timetable for dates after December 14 are already open in the Ukrzaliznytsia app and on their website.

We remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia plans price adjustments for tickets.

According to Serhiy Leshchenko, prices for SV and first-class 'Intercity' will rise depending on demand and purchase date.

The new routes of Ukrzaliznytsia provide convenient options for traveling within Ukraine and beyond, especially for those wishing to visit popular tourist spots. The latest changes also reflect the growing demand for rail transport, making travel more accessible and comfortable for Ukrainians.
