Ukrainian exporters will receive licenses in electronic form

Amendments to the order of the Ministry of Economy "On the procedure for licensing the export of goods" provide for Ukrainian exporters to receive licenses in electronic format. This became possible due to the reform of deregulation and digitalization of public services.

"Now we are completely transferring the receipt of licenses by exporters to electronic format. And we are working on a similar simplification of the procedure for importers. In addition, we are simplifying the process of obtaining permits itself, reducing the required number of documents for applying for a license," - noted Yulia Svyrydenko, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy.

In particular, the changes provide for the submission of documents and obtaining licenses in electronic form. Entrepreneurs can also continue to submit documents in paper form if they wish. The reform also provides for a reduction in the list of necessary documents for obtaining a license, updating the application forms for issuing a license and the license itself, and simplifying the licensing procedure.

To obtain licenses, Ukrainian entrepreneurs who choose electronic document submission must contact the Unified State Web Portal for electronic services at https://my.gov.ua/info/service/2817/details and submit a package of necessary documents in their electronic cabinet. After reviewing the documents and making a positive decision, the electronic license will appear in the applicant's cabinet.

There is also an option to receive a response by email if documents are submitted in paper form. For this, the entrepreneur must indicate the email address and their desire to receive the response electronically.

"During the period of martial law, the issuance of licenses for the export and import of goods is carried out free of charge. Thus, the letter of application for the license does not require the addition of a guarantee of state fee payment for its issuance and uploading of the document package," - reported the Ministry of Economy.
