Lawyers remind citizens about the consequences of paying a fine for failing to appear for a summons during martial law in Ukraine. Lawyer Dmytro Kushnarenko explained that a person who has been declared wanted is immediately directed to military education and issued a mobilization order. Such individuals are considered mobilized. Territorial recruitment centers have the right to issue a new summons even after paying the fine. It is important to monitor the entry of information about the removal from the wanted list in the register of draftees, conscripts, and reservists. Failure to follow procedures and not entering this data constitutes a violation of the rights of the conscript. A call may be caused by changes in the personal data of the draftee that they did not report. Failure to appear for a mobilization summons is punishable by criminal liability with imprisonment for a term of three to five years.
