Shelling in the Sumy region affected the following settlements:
- Korenok
- Ryzhivka
- Volfyne
- Sopych
- Vilna Sloboda
- Neskuchne
- Kucherivka
- Khliborob
- Yastrubshchyna
In Chernihiv region, Poliushkyne and Senkivka came under fire. Additionally, airstrikes targeted Kucherivka, Stari Vyrky, and Tovstodubove.
Defense Technology Advances
Amid these hostilities, on June 3, Fire Point successfully conducted a fully guided, maneuverable flight of the FP-7.X missile. This missile will serve as the foundation for the Freya anti-ballistic interceptor, underscoring ongoing efforts to advance defense technologies in response to the current frontline situation.
The frontline remains tense, with the enemy persistently trying to penetrate Ukrainian defenses. The shelling of populated areas highlights the continued threat to civilians. At the same time, the development of new defense technologies, such as the FP-7.X missile, could significantly enhance Ukraine's ability to counter emerging threats amid active combat operations.
