“Artillery is the god of war. And in my view, you can’t escape it. They’ll catch up with you eventually. If the 120mm doesn’t hit, the 155mm will find its mark for sure.”

Military analyst Dmytro Snegirev reported that “fighting is currently taking place within urban areas. The occupiers are trying to push through the Defense Forces’ positions on several fronts.” This indicates an escalation of combat in populated zones, complicating the situation for both sides of the conflict.
Additionally, a representative from the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave noted that “with the arrival of summer weather, the Russians stubbornly believe that foliage is a panacea against Ukrainian drones.” This remark highlights the enemy’s attempts to adapt to new battlefield challenges.
The frontline remains tense, with ongoing hostilities continuing to shape the conflict’s trajectory. Ukraine’s Armed Forces are demonstrating resilience and the ability to fend off attacks, while the Russian army suffers significant losses.
Recent events point to a rise in combat intensity, particularly in urban settings, which could lead to higher civilian casualties and worsen the humanitarian situation. As both sides seek new strategies amid heightened fighting, the conflict shows signs of prolonged duration, with potential repercussions for the entire region.
