Planned Electricity Shutdown in Odesa
According to Novyny.live: On June 17, 2023, scheduled maintenance on power equipment will cause a citywide blackout affecting Odesa and selected areas within the Odesa and Podilsk communities. The electricity supply will be cut from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, leading to significant disruptions in the operation of the city’s electric transit system.
Changes to Electric Transport Services

Meanwhile, trams No. 10, No. 13, No. 17, and No. 18 will not operate at all on that day.
To maintain passenger service, adjustments will be made to bus operations. Bus No. 5tr 'Railway Station — Arkadia' will follow the route normally taken by tram No. 5. Bus No. 18k 'Kulykove Pole — 14th Station of Velykyi Fontan' will cover the routes of trams No. 17 and No. 18.
Fare prices in Odesa remain at 15 UAH for trams and trolleybuses, and 20 UAH for city minibuses. Social buses on select routes offer free rides, ensuring accessibility for various population groups.
This planned power outage in Odesa is a crucial step in upgrading the energy infrastructure, aimed at improving the reliability and quality of electricity supply in the future.
These changes to power supply and transportation are part of scheduled measures to enhance energy equipment across the region. Passengers are advised to take these adjustments into account when planning their trips.
