Odessa changes traffic scheme due to overpass repair: which routes to avoid.
Starting tomorrow, August 18, Odessa will close Gazovy Lane due to the repair of the port overpass. For the convenience of drivers, the authorities have changed the traffic scheme — opened closed sections and allowed detours. Public transport will continue to operate with almost no changes.
This was reported on Sunday, August 17, by the Odessa City Council.
How to bypass the repair on Gazovy Lane
According to the city hall, a major repair of the 3rd phase of the transport overpass of the marine trade port will start in Odessa. As a result, from August 18 to September 1, 2025, traffic will be closed on Gazovy Lane within Primosrskaya Street.
What changes in public transport movement
The Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration will introduce a dispatch system to help coordinate traffic flow and avoid congestion.
It is specifically noted regarding public transport movement. Trolleybus №10 will continue to run on Primorska, while buses №110 and №190 will also operate unchanged. Alternative routes will remain buses №105, 121, 145, 146, 168, 240, 242, and 250, which have already resumed movement via Vitaliy Blazhko’s slope and returned to the regular schedule.
