Odesa changes traffic scheme due to overpass repair: which streets will be closed.
In Odesa, starting from August 18, changes will begin in the organization of traffic due to the repair of the transport overpass of the Odesa Sea Port. Gas Alley will be closed, the traffic scheme on Odariya Street will change, and trucks will be allowed to drive on Primorska Street.
'To avoid traffic jams, during this period we are allowing traffic on Primorska in the direction of Chornomorsky Kozats' which was previously closed,'
The repair of the Odesa Sea Port overpass is currently underway, aimed at improving infrastructure. To avoid misunderstandings and traffic jams, the city authorities have introduced temporary changes in traffic that will be controlled and monitored. Public transport on Primorska will operate on its usual schedule, but some alternative routes may also revert to their previous mode.
'Today, some Odesa residents are without electricity due to power line repairs. It was also noted that heavy vehicles in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions will be able to move even during the curfew.'
Such temporary traffic restrictions will help make the repairs safer and more efficient, as well as enhance the convenience of travel for Odesa residents. The city authorities urge drivers and passengers to be attentive and follow the established rules during the changes in traffic.
