Children died under the ice in Odessa region (photo, video).
A tragedy occurred in the village of Korsuntsi in the Odessa region: three children fell through the ice and died. Two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old went to the middle of the pond to check the strength of the ice, but it gave way and the children ended up in the water.
Passersby heard the voices of the boys calling for help and quickly called the rescuers as they could not reach them themselves.
Rescuers retrieved the bodies of the three deceased boys from the water.
Unfortunately, a similar situation occurred in the Kherson region, where five children fell through thin ice on a frozen river. A 16-year-old girl who saw it decided to help and ended up in the water with the children. Thanks to caring people, she and one of the girls were pulled out. Both girls needed medical assistance due to hypothermia.
In the city of Samara in Dnipropetrovsk region, there was also an incident, but this time rescuers managed to save two 15-year-old teenagers. They fell through the ice near the city park. Witnesses report that one of the boys ignored warnings and went out onto the thin ice but fell through. His friend tried to help and also fell into the water, but they were rescued by local residents.
