Drones attacked the railway in the Volgograd region: details of the night of enemy panic.
Drones attacked the railway in Russia
In Russia, on the night of August 6 to 7, a drone attack occurred on railway infrastructure. This happened in the Volgograd region, where two cases of drone attacks were recorded. This is reported by Russian media.
The regional governor reported that a fire broke out in a building at the Surovikino railway station due to an attack by an unidentified drone. The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters. He did not provide more detailed information about the destruction.
At another station, Maxim Gorky, the situation was different: sappers are working with the remnants of the downed drone. According to preliminary data, the infrastructure was not damaged. Also, at the Volgograd airport, restrictions on takeoff and landing of aircraft were introduced at the time of the events.
It should be noted that a day earlier, infrastructure facilities, including the railway, were also attacked by drones in Russia. Furthermore, a few days ago, the General Staff confirmed the attack on the airfield in Sochi and assessed the extent of the damage.
The events involving drone attacks on infrastructure in Russia are becoming increasingly intense, while the authorities are taking measures to protect critical infrastructure facilities from such incidents.Read also
