This was reported by the publication NEXTA.
Details of the horrific crime
Incidents of serious crimes committed by veterans of the aggressive war in Ukraine have become more frequent in Russia.
A high-profile crime—a murder—occurred in Vladikavkaz, the capital of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. A serviceman who returned from the 'zone of the special military operation' is suspected of this crime.
Media learned that the Russian, who returned home from the front in Ukraine, detonated a room where his family was located. He killed his wife and her 23-year-old daughter, and severely injured his 15-year-old stepdaughter. Interestingly, he did not harm his own 9-year-old son from another marriage. After this, he attempted suicide but was hospitalized with serious injuries. Recall that we previously reported that in Russia a military man killed his wife's lovers. Additionally, we reported that in Russia a police officer killed two people and escaped punishment.
Events in Vladikavkaz indicate that veterans of the war in Ukraine may experience serious psychological problems that manifest in tragic crimes. The authorities should pay more attention to supporting and rehabilitating conflict participants to prevent similar tragedies in the future.Read also
