Ukraine can determine the direction of enemy drones: how the new system works.
Intercepting enemy targets
Ukraine is developing a system that allows for the detection and interception of enemy drones with high precision. This was stated by MP Vadim Ivchenko.
Ivchenko emphasized that there are means to combat enemy drones, but their implementation is very slow due to bureaucratic obstacles.
'Everyone was just developing drones, fiber optics, and so on. No one was developing interception, no one was developing war against the 'shaheds', — Ivchenko said.
According to him, Ukraine already has a system that can detect everything that comes into our country, including drones. He is confident that such a system can be improved to determine their location with accuracy down to a kilometer.
'These things already exist, they need to be implemented and used on the frontlines more quickly. Purchases are already underway, but the highly anticipated effectiveness may only be realized after full implementation' , — he added.
Earlier, Ruslan Stefanchuk announced that Ukraine would present new weapons developments in the fall. Volodymyr Zelensky also announced plans to have 500–1000 interceptor drones per day.
Ukraine is actively working on improving the system for detecting and intercepting enemy drones, believing in the success of this initiative for the future.
