In Ukraine, free apartments will begin to be issued to displaced persons: how to apply.
Registration for receiving free apartments for internally displaced persons
Registration has started for receiving free apartments for internally displaced persons (IDPs). The project for providing free housing is being implemented by the HANSEN mission in Ukraine, founded by American entrepreneur Dell Loy Hansen.
This was reported by "Khvilya", citing information from the organization.
Free housing in the Kyiv region for a period of five years on the condition of paying utility bills is provided to internally displaced persons who have recently moved from the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions.
Free housing for IDPs is provided in three localities of the Kyiv region:
- In the village of Tarasivka, the "Hansen Town" has been built.
- In the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, an apartment building has been constructed.
- In the village of Kolonshchyna, the "Wonder Town" has been built, but housing there is provided only for elderly IDPs. Unlike the first two localities, housing is provided on a permanent basis (and not for five years) and payment for utility services is not required.
To receive free housing, displaced persons need to fill out a registration form at the provided link.
Recall that earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said whether an increase in payments to displaced persons is planned for 2025.
