According to preliminary data, prolonged power outages may lead to food price increases of up to 30%, especially affecting dairy and meat products that require constant cooling. However, prices for vegetables like potatoes remain more stable.

At the end of the year, the Ukrainian market traditionally sees an increase in demand associated with preparations for Christmas and New Year holidays. This increase in demand in December may lead to a slight price rise of 1.5-7%.

The current situation with prices for vegetables and fruits is significant not only for consumers but also for farmers who plan their production in response to market changes. Considering seasonal factors and fluctuations in demand will help adapt to the economic situation in the food market.
