Zelensky announced payments for energy workers: who will receive bonuses this winter.

According to ТСН: Ukraine is launching a support program for specialists in repair and recovery teams working in challenging winter conditions.

This initiative was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“We agreed with the Prime Minister to develop a special program to support such people who are directly working in repair teams, 24/7 in the most difficult circumstances. The government will offer how to significantly increase the pay of such specialists for each month of winter,”

- noted Volodymyr Zelensky.

Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that the bonuses will apply to workers of energy companies who go to the sites to restore the supply of electricity, heat, water, and gas.

“We are introducing bonuses for energy workers who are part of the repair and recovery teams of energy companies. This concerns specialists who go directly into the cold to repair the supply of heat, electricity, water, and gas,”

- emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.

She has already instructed the Ministry of Energy, along with the Ministry of Finance, to urgently prepare the corresponding decision for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers so that specialists can feel this support soon. The program will be in effect throughout the winter when the load on the networks and risks for specialists are the highest.

This year, there is also a planned increase in salaries for teachers in two phases, and it is expected that the average salary will reach about 30 thousand hryvnias.

In addition, starting from January 1, 2026, pensions in Ukraine will increase, which will be possible due to the rise in the minimum living wage and the minimum salary.

Ensuring support for specialists working in difficult conditions is an important step toward improving the energy stability of the country. The implementation of this program will increase employee motivation and ensure the uninterrupted restoration of critically important communications during the winter period. At the end of the year, other changes are also planned, including salary increases for educators and pension reviews, which signifies a general consensus on the necessity of supporting various social groups of citizens.
