In Ukraine, the rules for crossing the border will change: how to leave after June 1.
Ukraine plans changes in the use of the electronic queue at the border
The Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure is developing new rules for the order of arrival of buses at border crossing points. The changes concern the electronic booking system, which directly affects the departure time of passengers going abroad.
The planned regulations stipulate strict compliance with the booked slots for buses. Carriers who regularly ignore their reservations will be subject to sanctions. If a company books a departure time but does not use it, it will lose the right to further use the queue.
«This is done to remove 'dead slots' from the queue that hinder the crossing of the border for other carriers,» the Ministry noted.
The ministry hopes that the new rules will help speed up the operation of border crossing points. Queues currently reach over 10 kilometers, which also includes passenger buses.
Changes to the electronic queue rules will take effect after a public discussion that will last a month after publication. It is expected that the updated regulations will be in effect approximately from June this year.
Do not forget that it also guarantees deregistration for departure abroad.
