Abnormal weather is coming to Ukraine: what to prepare for at the beginning of October.

Throughout the whole week, unusually warm weather for this Time of year will prevail in Ukraine. Thanks to atmospheric circulation from the southeast, warm air from southern latitudes will continue to flow into the country. This will lead to the temperature background in the first days of October exceeding the norm by 5-10 degrees.

Meteorologist Igor Kibaltchich wrote about this in a column for Meteoprog.

The beginning of the week will please residents of most regions with warm and dry weather. The exception will be the western part of the country, where under the influence of a slow-moving atmospheric front, rains will be observed at times, and wet snow is possible in the Carpathians. The air temperature in the western regions will fluctuate from 5-10 degrees at night to 9-14 degrees during the day. In the Carpathians, 0-5 degrees is expected during the day. In the rest of the country, it will be 11-16 degrees at night, and the air will warm up to 20-25 degrees during the day, reaching 28 degrees in some places in the southeast.

„Autumn comes with pleasant weather. This week, we expect cozy and warm weather. Don't forget to enjoy the October warmth, as later we will need the warmth in winter,” – Igor Kibaltchich noted.

The middle of the week will bring mostly sunny weather without precipitation across Ukraine. In the western regions, fog is possible at night and in the morning. The air temperature in the western regions will be 2-7 degrees at night, while on the ground surface and in some places in the air, frosts down to minus 3 degrees are possible. During the day, it will be 13-18 degrees. In the rest of the country, 8-14 degrees are expected at night, and the air will warm up to 21-26 degrees during the day.

By the end of the week, the weather will become more unstable. On Friday, dry and abnormally warm weather will still prevail in most parts of the country, but rains will start in the western regions. Over the weekend, rainy weather will spread to most of the country, with thunderstorms and gusty wind intensification in some places. The air temperature on these days will fluctuate from 11-17 degrees at night to 15-20 degrees during the day, and in the southeast and Crimea, the air will warm up to 23-28 degrees.
