It is important to pay taxes by March 31: Ukrainians reminded of mandatory tax payment.
The State Tax Service appealed to Ukrainians with an important reminder: March 31, 2025, is the last day for tax payment. Timely payment of taxes not only fulfills legislative requirements but also contributes to the development of infrastructure, social programs, and public institutions. Citizens may bear responsibility for late payment.
According to the tax calendar of the State Tax Service, March 31, 2025, is the last day to pay the following taxes:
- land payment (land tax and/or rent for land plots of state or communal ownership) (except for citizens) for February 2025;
- value added tax for February 2025;
- excise tax for February 2025;
- advance payment of corporate profit tax for exchange points of foreign currency for March 2025;
- land payment by individuals - entrepreneurs - owners and users of land plots for February 2025;
- personal income tax and military levy for February 2025, if the taxable income is accrued by the tax agent but not paid (not granted) to the taxpayer.
Additionally, for February 2025, it is necessary to pay the personal income tax and military levy on income accrued in the form of:
- interest on current or deposit bank accounts;
- interest on the deposits of a credit union member.
For February, it is also necessary to pay the rent for:
- using subsurface resources when extracting hydrocarbon raw materials;
- using the radio frequency resource of Ukraine;
- transporting oil and oil products through trunk pipelines on the territory of Ukraine;
- transit transportation of ammonia through pipelines on the territory of Ukraine.
We remind you that Ukraine is considering the possibility of introducing a new tax for taxi drivers, couriers, and sellers.
