Murder of Ukrainians in Germany for the sake of child abduction. The court announced the verdict for the couple.
In a court in Germany, a couple who killed a Ukrainian woman and her mother, and also abducted a child, was sentenced to life imprisonment. The verdict indicates that the guilt of the criminals has been recognized as particularly severe, and their early release from prison is nearly impossible to expect. According to their statements, the man beat the women to death with a rubber mallet. Currently, the child is under the care of her aunt in Ukraine, who has obtained custody of her. The sister of the deceased is also participating in the court process as a co-plaintiff.
On March 7, the body of a Ukrainian woman who gave birth a month ago was found in Germany. After an investigation, the police arrested the couple suspected of murder. According to witnesses, the man spoke to neighbors about his newborn daughter, which indicates their intentions to abduct the child of one of the victims.
