Teachers will double their allowances: how much they will start receiving in September.
Starting September 1 of this year, educational workers in Ukraine will receive double additional payments to their salaries. According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the amount of these payments will be 2000 hryvnias after taxes (2600 hryvnias before taxes) monthly.
Currently, teachers receive only 1000 hryvnias additionally, so the new amount is twice the current one. This allowance will be provided until the end of the year when the martial law in the country ends.
The amount of the additional payment will depend on the teaching load of the educator - the more hours a teacher teaches, the higher the amount of the allowance.
This money will be automatically credited to teachers' bank cards, ensuring a stable receipt of increased financial support throughout the entire duration of this program. After the martial law is lifted, the increased payments will cease with the beginning of the new calendar year.
