Rescuers saved a giant turtle nicknamed TipToe in Los Angeles during a fire. This turtle became popular on the social media platform TikTok. With the help of a large container, she was brought out of the smoke-filled area of Palisades. The owner's family filmed a video showing the turtle wrapped in a burned blanket.
The turtle's owner, Caitlin Dorn, shared that several of her relatives lost their homes due to the fire. She is grateful that her house survived.

The turtle's owner shared that they all managed to get out safely and everyone is well. Many of her relatives and friends lost their homes due to the fire in Palisades. Fires in the east and west of Los Angeles claimed the lives of 10 people and destroyed many houses. The Pacific Palisades fire and the Eaton fire are considered the most destructive in the city's history. The fire engulfed over 17.7 hectares of land.
