The children of one of the men who died from a mine in Zatoka, Odesa, saw their father's death right before their eyes. The man and woman who died in another explosion had come to vacation from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.Details of the tragedy include the fact that the 42-year-old man came to vacation with his children and the mine explosion occurred in front of them. The man and woman who also died had come to vacation from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi but did not comply with the ban on swimming in this area of the sea.According to Marina Averyna, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region, all recreation centers had signs prohibiting swimming; however, some local entrepreneurs remove them to avoid deterring vacationers. Ignoring safety rules in water bodies leads to such tragedies.It is worth noting that recently the issue of closing hotels in Zatoka and the overall closure of this resort for vacationing was discussed.
