Prices for oranges and tangerines in January
According to the Minfin portal, Ukrainian supermarkets have set prices for oranges and tangerines in January.
Despite the winter period, demand for citrus fruits continues to grow, but prices are also rising.
The average price for tangerines is currently 73.78 UAH per kg, which is slightly lower than last month - 81.75 UAH/kg. Depending on the store, prices for tangerines range from 75.90 UAH in Auchan to 105.30 UAH in Megamarket.
Spanish tangerines cost 141.80 UAH/kg, while clementines are 77.40 UAH/kg.
The price of oranges has increased from 71.35 UAH/kg to 72.90 UAH/kg. In Auchan, oranges are sold for 55.90 UAH per kg, while in Megamarket, they cost 89.90 UAH/kg. Turkish oranges cost 72.69 UAH/kg, while the premium option has dropped in price from 80.81 UAH/kg to 72.65 UAH/kg.
Customers can compare prices at different stores to find the best deals on these popular citrus fruits this month.
It is worth noting that vegetable prices for borscht have also increased in Ukraine.
