From Germany to Peru: Ukrainians from 40 countries united in a global action (photo).
For three years, the 'Stop the Evil' campaign has been ongoing worldwide to mark the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The initiative, which started on February 20, will continue until March 3, 2025, uniting Ukrainians abroad.
In the first days of the campaign, many events took place in various countries, including Belgium, France, the USA, Spain, Austria, the United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Germany, Romania, and others. The main message of the campaign is: 'If Ukraine does not endure, Europe will fall.'
Actions in different countries
Spain
On February 23, a large event was held in Barcelona to mark the third anniversary of the Russian invasion.
Members of the Ukrainian community also took to the streets of Tarragona on February 23 and marched to Ukrainian songs.
Germany
In Hamburg, the Ukrainian organization held a large-scale rally attended by many people.
Members of the Ukrainian community took to the streets of Frankfurt with campaign posters and calls to stop evil.
Finland
On February 24, a demonstration took place in Tampere, joined not only by Ukrainians but also by local residents.
Italy
On February 23, Ukrainians in the Italian city of Ancona marched in memory and solidarity.
France
Ukrainians from the public organization Colo UA organized an exhibition in Nancy and marched through the city with slogans 'Stop the Evil!'.
Austria
A large demonstration in support of Ukraine was held in Innsbruck.
Participants in the demonstration included not only representatives of the Ukrainian community in Tyrol but also Ukrainian and Austrian clergy, representatives of the Austrian political elite and local authorities.
Romania
On the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a requiem rally 'The War in Ukraine Continues' was held.
In addition to mass events, several themed quests were created within the Stop the Evil campaign, including discussions with foreigners about Ukraine, donations to support the military, participation in local actions, publications on social media, and more. Hundreds of participants from 40 countries around the world, including Peru, Argentina, Thailand, and Cyprus, joined these initiatives within a few days.
