Power Outage in Odesa - What Residents Can Expect Tomorrow.
The energy system of the country is still unstable as it recovers from enemy shelling. However, tomorrow, Friday, August 1, there are no plans to impose restrictions on electricity supply in Odesa.
This conclusion can be drawn from the fact that neither DTEK nor Ukrenergo have warned about restrictions.
Electricity Consumption Has Not Changed
Electricity consumption shows a trend towards decline. Today, July 31, at 9:30 AM, it was 7% lower than at the same time the previous day - on Wednesday. The reason for such changes is the decline in heat across the entire territory of Ukraine. Additionally, sunny weather in most regions promotes the effective operation of household solar power plants and effectively reduces the level of energy consumption from the overall network.
Where to Check the Schedules
If outages are indeed implemented, the energy workers will provide advance notice. You can check which group your house belongs to on the website of the local distribution system operator. DTEK calls on residents of the Odesa region to understand the restrictions and reduce electricity consumption while light is available in order to avoid system overloads.
How to Know the Restoration Time for Power
The time for power restoration can be found using:
- the DTEK Odesa power grid website (section 'No Electricity?');
- a chatbot on Telegram;
- private messages on Facebook;
- submitting a request on the DTEK website.
As a reminder, we recently wrote about the cost of electricity in August. Also, about the tariff for UBP for Odesites.
The electricity supply in Odesa remains stable, and warnings about restrictions are currently not planned. Electricity consumption has decreased due to the decline in heat and the active operation of solar power plants. Schedules for outages and the time for power restoration can be learned on the website of the electricity distribution system operator.Read also
