The state compensates up to 16 million hryvnias to businesses destroyed by shelling: how to obtain a grant.
Entrepreneurs affected by shelling can now count on assistance from the Ministry of Economy. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
Grant for business recovery
It is noted that the government will cover part of the cost of restoring equipment for entrepreneurs who have suffered losses. The compensation percentage will depend on the amount; however, it will be up to 80% of the total cost. The grant can also cover expenses for research to launch new types of products and equipment for post-harvest processing.
To apply for the grant, one can do so online via 'Diiа'. A decision on providing assistance is to be made within a month.
'The condition is to create at least five jobs and operate for at least three years. This has already helped attract over 6.2 million hryvnias in investments and create over 20 thousand jobs,' said the Prime Minister.
It should be noted that there is no general deferral of obligations for individual entrepreneurs. However, some entrepreneurs can address this issue individually.
It is also worth mentioning that entrepreneurs who violate document circulation rules may become subject to fines this year.
The government has determined new conditions for obtaining grants for the recovery of businesses affected by the war in Ukraine. They include the possibility of receiving financial support for restoring production and the competitiveness of enterprises.
