Japan Airlines offers free flights within Japan: who can take advantage.

The offer consists of free domestic flights for travelers booking round-trip international flights. The initiative is aimed at reducing overtourism in Tokyo and Kyoto and will showcase lesser-known regions of Japan to travelers.

How to obtain free flight tickets

To take advantage of this offer, passengers must book an international JAL flight and include a domestic flight in the same booking. This promotion is available for travelers from various countries, such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, China, and Taiwan.

Some travelers from certain countries will have to pay a layover fee in Japan of 300 yen (approximately 100 dollars) if their stopover is longer than 24 hours before departing on a domestic flight.

Recently, it was also reported about the implementation of new equipment in airports across Europe, which will enhance passenger comfort, as well as the Polish airline LOT acquiring 14 thousand new seats.
