According to TSN.ua: Ukraine's parliament has passed a measure granting a one-year mobilization deferral to men aged 18 to 24 who have completed a 12-month military contract. The initiative received significant political backing, with 243 members of parliament voting in favor. This policy is part of broader efforts to support service members who have already fulfilled their duties during the ongoing conflict.

The deferral will last for 12 months, providing these young defenders with a period for recovery and reintegration. MP Oleksiy Honcharenko stated:

“Parliament has supported a one-year deferral for men aged 18 to 24 who have served a one-year contract.” - Oleksiy Honcharenko

Consequently, these individuals will not be subject to mobilization into any defense sector for the duration of the year. MP Fedir Venislavskyi emphasized the importance of this respite:

“People who have served under contract will have the right to 12 months of rest and will not be mobilized again into any defense sectors.” - Fedir Venislavskyi

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has also acknowledged the significance of the adopted law for supporting service members and their families.
