A huge traffic jam has formed at the border with Moldova: how to bypass the queues.

Today, August 5, a large traffic jam has formed on the Odesa-Reni highway due to one of the checkpoints at the border with Moldova. Passage to Romania is currently free, so you can avoid the queues.

According to the mapping web service Google Maps, a significant traffic jam has formed around the crossing point 'Palanka - Mayaki - Udobne', where it may take about an hour to get through. At the same time, at the 'Starokozache - Tudora' checkpoint, passage is free, and no traffic jams have been recorded in Reni.

Situation at the border with Romania

There are currently no traffic jams near the ferry 'Orlivka - Isakcha' to Romania. Everything is also clear near the Kifa Channel. However, the passage is complicated in the area of the village of Broska, so it's better to bypass this section. The journey from Odesa to Romania will now take about 5 hours.
