Significant Traffic Jams at the Border with Moldova and Romania: How to Avoid Long Waits.
Today, August 11, large traffic jams have occurred on the Odesa-Reni highway in the direction of the checkpoint to Moldova. Travel to Romania is also complicated due to traffic jams, so travelers are advised to check the situation before departure.
Traffic Jams to Moldova
Large queues are already forming at the 'Palanka - Mayaki - Udobne' checkpoint, which may delay you on the road for more than an hour. Another jam is gathering near the village of Mayaki. Traffic at the 'Starokozache - Tudora' section is currently flowing without obstacles. According to the mapping service, there are no queues at the Reni checkpoint.
Traffic Jams to Romania
On the M-15 highway near the ferry crossing 'Orlivka - Isakcha', significant traffic jams are also observed, which may cause delays. The situation is better around the Kofa Canal, with no congestion noted. Traveling from Odesa to Romania may now take more than 5 hours.
