Military of the Armed Forces faked driver's license: what punishment did the court impose.
A military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove around Odesa region with a fake driver's license. However, law enforcement managed to detect his deception, opened a criminal case, and sent it to court.
Case Details
The head of a motorized infantry platoon faked category B and C driver's licenses and drove with them in his DAEWOO Lanos. However, while moving along the T 1611 highway connecting Kodima and Balta, the man was stopped by the police. Law enforcement uncovered the deception and opened a criminal case.
Court Decision
The individual was found guilty under parts 1 and 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (falsification of a document and its use). He will have to pay a fine of 10,200 hryvnias.
