A military man in Odesa region received a fine for hitting a neighbor: details of the court decision.
A military man from Odesa region quarrelled with his neighbor, as a result of which he hit him in the face. A case was opened against the serviceman for inflicting minor bodily injuries, which was considered in the Rozdilna District Court.
A military man from Vakulivka village in Rozdilna district quarreled with his neighbor against the backdrop of previously established hostile relations. The conflict ended in a fight: the serviceman hit the man in the face with his fist and left him with a bruise under his left eye. The victim recorded minor bodily injuries, and a case was opened against the soldier. In court, the defendant sincerely repented.
What the court decided
The defendant was found guilty under part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (inflicting minor bodily injuries). For the committed act, he must pay a fine of 850 hryvnias.
