Rocket attack on critical infrastructure in Rivne region
On November 17, Russia carried out a rocket attack on a critical infrastructure facility in the Rivne region, the police of the area reports.
As a result of the attack, buildings nearby were damaged. Windows, balconies, and doors in residential buildings were affected. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Experts are examining the area and collecting evidence. People whose apartments were damaged have been evacuated and provided assistance.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Rivne region is conducting an investigation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) under the supervision of the Security Service of Ukraine.
On November 17, Russian occupation forces conducted a mass launch of rockets. It was recorded that rockets were launched from Russian strategic bombers Tu-95MS towards Ukraine at 05:42. Seventeen aircraft were recorded, but it is unknown if all of them carried out rocket strikes.
Ukrainian Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko stated that Russian terrorists are attacking energy infrastructure facilities across the country with rockets.
