Putin's friend's villa is up for sale as the most expensive in Germany.
A villa is for sale in Germany, where Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov lived for a long Time. This house has become the most expensive property in the country's history. According to the newspaper Münchner Merkur, the villa was sold for €25 million, which is a record price since the establishment of the real estate aggregator Immowelt, which has been monitoring real estate sales in Germany since 1996.
The sale of the villa is managed by the insolvency administrator Ulrich Cramer, who has been instructed by the court to satisfy the claims of creditors of Tegernsee (IOM) Limited. In 2011, this company purchased the villa for €7.2 million.
Due to the company's bankruptcy, as most of its assets consisted of real estate that could not be used to settle debts, the property needs to be sold to cover liabilities, Cramer notes.
