According to Espreso.tv: Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan has announced a reservist training period running from March 31 to June 19. Authorities are actively screening citizens arriving from Russia, with some receiving conscription notices. According to Papoyan,
“I’m very glad, because we need them.”
With a population of roughly 3 million, Armenia is working to strengthen its security and defense capabilities amid current challenges. The government is also evaluating the logistics of relocating up to 100,000 people, a move estimated to cost $50 million.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated there are no grounds for holding a referendum on EU or Eurasian Economic Union membership at this time. This reflects the government’s focus on maintaining domestic stability while navigating global pressures.
