Ukraine Needs 8-12 Billion Dollars: Hetmantsev on Financial Support and Peace Prospects.
In the program 'Evening.LIVE', member of parliament from 'Servant of the People', head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danilo Hetmantsev shared his expectations regarding negotiations in Alaska and painted the prospects for peace in Ukraine.
Hetmantsev on the IMF Program and Drone Revenues
The deputy noted that ending the conflict in Ukraine without support from the United States is impossible and expressed doubts about the country's ability to function without financial assistance from Western partners ranging from 8 to 12 billion dollars.
At the same time, Hetmantsev emphasized that ending the war would not lead to a reduction in defense spending and urged the government to provide decent conditions for residents of frontline regions regardless of developments.
The Minister of Social Policy is already developing a new formula for recalculating pensions, and it is also planned to determine the real size of the minimum subsistence level and separate it from related payments.
Danilo Hetmantsev previously explained his support for the abolition of special pensions and expressed confidence that the Bureau of Economic Security should be responsible for investigating financial crimes in Ukraine.
During his participation in the television program, deputy Danilo Hetmantsev expressed his views on important issues such as drone revenues, state assistance from Western countries and the need for decent conditions for residents of frontline regions.
