The message from captivity was received with joy and a great emotional charge. The released military man congratulated the relatives of his comrade with the joyful news that they would soon be able to meet. This became possible thanks to a new phase of prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, initiated to bring all soldiers home.

The Ukrainian government emphasizes that humanitarian issues are of great importance, and the exchange of prisoners is one of the priorities. Recently, the release of Ukrainian soldiers who had been in captivity since 2022 took place, and this was a good signal for further actions in this direction. However, there is a problem with the release of the fighters from the 12th brigade, which requires attention and immediate steps for their release.
