The festival's program included a propaganda film by Russian director Anastasia Trofimova about Russians at war with Ukraine. The Ukrainian State Film Agency condemned the inclusion of this film in the festival program and called on the organizers to exclude it, as it is propaganda justifying aggression. Director Anastasia Trofimova worked for the Russian propaganda media network Russia Today.

In addition, the festival featured Ukrainian films "Songs of the Land Slowly Burning" by Olga Zhurba and "Honeymoon" by Zhanna Ozirna. Both films tell about the war in Ukraine and the transformation of society against its backdrop.
