The Russian authorities complain about an attack by over 120 drones: six airports have suspended flights.


The Russian air defense forces shot down 121 Ukrainian drones
The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that 121 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight. Details:
- 37 - over Bryansk region;
- 20 - over Ryazan region;
- 17 - over Kursk region;
- 17 - over Saratov region;
- seven - over Rostov region;
- six - over Moscow region;
- six - over Belgorod region;
- three - over Voronezh region;
- two - over Tula region;
- two - over Oryol region;
- two - over Lipetsk region;
- one - over Moscow.
Additionally, one drone was shot down over Crimea.
As a result, six airports in Russia temporarily suspended the acceptance and dispatch of flights. This was done to ensure the safety of civilian aircraft.
Restrictions are being implemented at the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Samara, Saratov, and Ufa.
Earlier, ISW analysts reported that the Kremlin is taking measures to protect defense facilities on the borders from attacks by Ukrainian drones. Strengthening air defense forces is also planned.
It is worth recalling that on the night of January 24, a series of explosions occurred in the suburbs of Moscow. Drones were flying towards Moscow.
There was also a series of explosions in Ryazan region. Drones attacked the city. According to preliminary data, the drones were headed towards oil refining facilities.
As a result, the Ryazan oil refinery and the Ryazan thermal power plant are on fire.
