Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 41 Russian strike drones
On the night of October 27, 2024, the enemy attacked with 80 Shahed-type strike unmanned aerial vehicles and unidentified drones from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, reported the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, 41 enemy drones were shot down, most of them in the Odesa and Kyiv regions.
In addition, 32 Russian drones were lost, one flew towards Belarus. Updated data also indicate that during the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1,440 occupants.
Recall that on October 27, the Russians launched an airstrike on energy facilities of critical infrastructure in the Romny district of the Sumy region. Also, 37 shellings of border areas and settlements in the Sumy region with 48 explosions were recorded. As a result of enemy drone strikes, power was lost in Sumy.
Currently, the 977th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is underway.
