Financial Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons
According to Novyny.live: Starting March 13, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Ukraine can apply for a one-time financial aid payment of 2,000 hryvnias from the charitable foundation 'Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine'. This initiative represents a critical effort to support vulnerable populations affected by the ongoing war and other crises. Millions have been displaced within Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began, creating immense humanitarian needs.
Applications will be accepted in the city of Brovary at 30 Heroiv Ukrainy Street. The document submission point will be open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This monetary assistance is specifically available to individuals who hold official statuses confirming their vulnerability.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistance
The 2,000 hryvnia payment will be provided to:
- Elderly persons aged 60 and over,
- Citizens with disability groups I and II,
- Children with disabilities,
- Large families,
- Single parents with young children,
- Guardians of children,
- Relatives of the deceased,
- Families of missing persons,
- Relatives of individuals held captive,
- Persons affected by the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident.
To receive the aid, applicants must prepare a package of documents including:
- A copy of a passport,
- A copy of IDP registration,
- A copy of the tax identification code,
- A copy of a document confirming eligibility under a vulnerable category,
- A copy of bank account details.
This program is part of broader efforts to support IDPs across Ukraine, aiming to alleviate hardship during an extremely difficult period.
