Changes in the procedure for taking driving tests
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has presented a draft order that introduces changes to the procedure for taking tests to obtain a driver's license. One of the key innovations is the extension of the intervals between attempts to retake the practical test.
According to the document, after the first failure, the candidate will be able to resume the attempt no earlier than ten calendar days from the last attempt. If the second attempt is also unsuccessful, the break before the next test will be twenty days. After the third failure and each subsequent one, the break will increase to thirty days.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explain that these changes are aimed at improving the quality of preparation for candidates for drivers and optimizing the work of service centers where tests are conducted. It is also worth recalling the new rules for car registration, key changes for drivers, and fines for 2025.
