Vova's Thousand: The Network Reacted to Zelensky's New Initiative.
President Volodymyr Zelensky decided to pay all citizens of Ukraine one thousand hryvnias starting from December 1. This decision caused various reactions in Ukrainian society.
Social media users treat this initiative with humor and create various memes.
Let us recall that the idea of ‘eSupport’ arose due to unforeseen foreign aid that Ukraine received.
Earlier it was reported that from December 1, the Government introduces a new financial support program under which every Ukrainian will be able to receive 1 thousand hryvnias. This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Also, let us remind that the President earlier reported that everyone who receives two vaccinations will receive one thousand hryvnias from the state through the ‘Diia’ application.
In 2022, the money from ‘eSupport’ could be spent on any products or goods without restrictions, as well as transfer money to other cards.
Moreover, Ukraine plans to develop an internal enhancement plan and involve public organizations in its implementation.
As of July 1, 2024, Ukrainians owed more than 14.5 billion hryvnias to microfinance organizations. Since the beginning of the year, the debt increased by 5.23 billion hryvnias, which is 56%.
The average amount of a microloan increased by 1.4 times compared to the previous year and amounts to 6776 hryvnias. In the first half of 2024, nearly 4 million credit agreements were concluded for a total of 26.7 billion hryvnias. The number of agreements during this period increased by 1.5% compared to the same period in 2023.
