According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of September 15, 2024, the losses of Russian occupiers in the war have been updated.

Russian losses in the war as of September 15, 2024

The Russian Federation, as claimed, had incurred the following losses as of September 15:

  • personnel - about 633,800 (+1170) people,
  • tanks - 8680 (+6) units,
  • armored fighting vehicles - 17063 (+20) units,
  • artillery systems - 18109 (+23) units,
  • MLRS - 1186 (+0) units,
  • air defense systems - 947 (+1) units,
  • aircraft - 369 (+0) units,
  • helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 15234 (+85),
  • cruise missiles - 2592 (+1) units,
  • ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
  • vehicles and tankers - 24684 (+53) units,
  • special equipment - 3084 (+0).

Information is being clarified.

Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of September 15

  • In the Black Sea, 16 enemy ships were registered, seven of which are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 48 missiles.
  • There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
  • In the Mediterranean Sea, five enemy ships are present, two of which are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to eight missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was crossed by:

  • to the Black Sea - eight vessels, six of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov - 12 vessels, four of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).

Currently, it is the 935th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
