The Armed Forces of Ukraine have published new data on Russian occupiers' losses as of May 22, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 22, 2025
According to information, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine as of May 22:
- personnel - about 977650 (+870);
- tanks - 10839 (+4);
- armored combat vehicles - 22574 (+5);
- artillery systems - 28122 (+32);
- MLRS - 1388 (+0);
- air defense systems - 1167 (+0);
- aircraft - 372 (+0);
- helicopters - 336;
- tactical level UAVs - 36797 (+105);
- cruise missiles - 3197 (+0);
- ships / boats - 28 (+0);
- submarines - 1 (+0);
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 49268 (+99);
- special equipment - 3895 (+0).
Enemy fleet activity as of May 22
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, one of which is carrying cruise missiles 'Kalibr' with a total salvo of up to eight missiles.
During the day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interest of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea - two vessels, which continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - three vessels, two of which are from the Bosphorus Strait.
