In Lviv and surrounding areas, roads have been flooded due to heavy rain. Emergency services are currently on site, urging drivers to be cautious due to deteriorating weather conditions.
Road flooding in Lviv
According to the patrol police of the Lviv region, road flooding has been recorded:
- in the city of Lviv on Truskavetska Street and on St. John Paul II Avenue;
- on the T-14-16 highway Lviv - Medenychi - Pustomyty near the village of Sokilnyky;
- in the village of Zubra, the roadway is flooded.
'All services are on site. Take this information into account and be aware of the worsening weather conditions!'
We remind you that meteorologists predicted hail, squalls, and heavy rain in Lviv and the region on July 10. Some areas were under increased weather alert (orange level).
Recently, strong winds have intensified in the Lviv region, and on July 9, a huge tornado was even spotted.
As a result of heavy rainfall, roads in Lviv and surrounding areas have been flooded, complicating traffic and requiring increased caution from drivers.
